UNreported Violence In Iraq
Sun Jan 13, 2008 at 05:52:54 PM PDT
While the news media sleeps and makes everything sound "just peachy" over in Iraq - and reports that the American people are no longer concerned with the War In Iraq - the following reports of violence went UNreported by the MSM.
As you read these day by day accounts of Daily Iraq Violence Reports in 2008, think back to how the media and this country reacted when we had violent shootings at colleges and schools like WV or Columbine and how the media covered those shootings in depth.
Then ask yourself, why isn't the MSM reporting this violence? Did they get an "order" from higher ups at The White House to keep these reports of violence in Iraq out of the news and stick to “more important news” like Britney Spears?
At least McClatchy News is doing their jobs correctly and in detail. My hats off to them! If I had not read these McClatchy articles on the web and relied on the MSM to get my news, I would not know that this type of violence was still going on in Iraq at this rate.
Like the old news math equation goes: Out of Sight + Out of Mind = UNreported News.

Now that you have read these reports, how much of this current violence in Iraq did you see on TV or read in the Major Newspapers?
Any bets that GI JOE Lieberman and "Surge On" McCain would still take a tour of all these towns - but this time without any soldiers surrounding them and without wearing a helmet and an IED jacket to protect them?
